3. Rules and Regulations
4. Law Enforcement Use of Force
5. Patrolling Areas
6. How to get promoted
7. Weapons

1. Introduction:

This SFPD Manual was made for everyone to understand what the SFPD is about and any other information. This manual will explain anything to almost anyone. Applicants, Cadets, Officers etc. This manual will actually help retards who think they can be in PD by only asking. If you want in on the PD, you must prove yourself, and make an application. If you want information on the PD, then you came to the right place. I hope you will enjoy this manual.

2. General Information:

The SFPD is a strict faction and we do not tolerate any goofing off. If you goof off most of the time, there is a chance you will be fired from the PD. No exceptions. No warnings. As an officer your main duty is to protect and serve if you fail to do this, you may result in being kicked from the PD. Your duties are also to listen to your superiors and do as they say. It is a main rule, failure to do so will result in a warning. After 2 warnings, you're out and please read this whole thing before you apply. So once you click that submit button with your application, you are bound to follow every single rule and go by your duties.

3. Rules and Regulations:

As a cadet / officer of the SFPD, you are bound to follow each and every one of these rules:

1. As an officer you must know how to act as a cop, as it is one of the main rules in the police department. ((Role-play properly as a cop))

2. The main rule for a cadet is to never abuse any of your equipment, for instance, your tazer. This is often abused by dumbasses all the time. Do NOT taze anyone if they are shooting, or running. If you taze someone that is shooting at you, or running that is called tazer abuse.
3. If you've been a gigantic douchebag to someone, for instance, beating him with a nitestick for no apparent reason at all. Be ready to have a complaint and be ready to defend yourself, if you fail to defend yourself and I, or Gabriel Johnson believe it is serious enough, you will be fired and possible imprisoned.

4. If a criminal is being arrested and/or ticketed, and he is complying please, go easy on the kid. Don't be a douche. Be glad that the suspect knows how to act appropriately.

5. If a suspect is wanted make sure you are courteous he may be scum, but for all you know that scum may be carrying a weapon. Be sure to cuff him for officers safety, pat him down search him, and tell him why he is being detained and/or arrested.

6. Act in a professional manner at all times, No goofing off. You must show maturity. As officers, we set an example to the civilian population. ((And any future applicants, or members of the SF-RP Community)).

7. Obey all rules and be respectful with command staff. This insists on kissing their asses.

8. Drive carefully and set an example. If you cause an accident, make sure to apologize to the other driver, and right it up in a report.

4. Law Enforcement Use of Force
Non-Compliant/Fleeing suspect [aggressive or not] - Tazer
Assaulting Suspect - Hands/Tazer/Mace
Blunt Weapon - Baton/Tazer/Mace

Weapons:

Baton - Pretty useless in realistic situations however if being attacked by a blunt weapon use this.

Mace - It's pretty good for breaking up any type of fight.

Tazer - Probably the most useful tool in the arsenal, essential to catch running suspects, or non-compliant suspects..

Side-Arm Pistol- A step up from the Tazer, this thing actually packs a fair punch. Standard issue.

Shotgun - A good weapon to have on show, very intimidating. Quite powerful too although hampered by the fact it's pump action.

MP5 - Used for disabling of vehicles in high risk chases. It's not bad on foot, but the damage on it isn't too hot. You should not use this gun for your regular patrol.

M4 - This gun is pretty damn accurate, it is also pretty good with taking someone out in any hardcore situation, like a bank robbery. Kept on a Gun-rack in the Cruiser, or in the Trunk.
-For Command and SWAT only.
